The 8 Practices of Adaptation
Project Adapt has developed 8 simple practices which guide you and those of your household to adapt to climate change. To access these practices, please fill in the form presented here.
Once you submit it, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to the download.
Why do we ask for your name, location and email? We’d like to build adaptation communities because we believe that over the decades to come, local communities, not cities, not individual households, but local communities will lead the way to successful adaptation.
As we see potential local communities forming, we will invite you to participate and connect with other nearby adapters.
After you sign-up, you will receive an email with a link to the free download.

The 8 Practices of Climate Adaptation are a free, practical guide created by Project Adapt to support your household’s response to climate change. These practices are grounded in simplicity and community, helping individuals take meaningful action that aligns with Earth’s changing climate.
By signing up to receive the 8 Practices of Climate Adaptation, you’re not just downloading a document, you’re joining a wider movement. Project Adapt aims to build connected adaptation communities by inviting people who live near one another to collaborate and lead together through change.
We ask for your name, location, and email so we can support local adaptation efforts. As regional groups form, you’ll be invited to join others nearby who are also using the 8 Practices of Climate Adaptation. Together, we can face climate uncertainty with grounded resilience.
